Yee haw — lovely meeting with the editor from Falcon/Ankh and she is excited about my poetry. I get to put together a manuscript with more poetry than we can use by March 9, and she’ll select the best/strongest pieces and order them. We’ll work out between us what we like best for final version.
I’m very excited — looking forward to a June 1 release date for this, finally — Amaryllis: Collected Poems. Yay 😉
Watch this site then, for updates and info on release party, readings, etc.
And wow. Let’s see what else we can add to our plate: five kids, big house, landscaping for a summer wedding reception, fixing up inside as well, and planning a wedding. Oh, yeah, studying with the Salon, meeting with my women’s group weekly, and the like. Oh well. It’ll all come together in the end. 2007 is the year of no fear. I have no doubt that I can do it all…with just a bit of help from the Universe, and my friends.
