    More Pix

These were taken by far-flung friend and frequent Muse-reader Mamagotcha: http://flickr.com/photos/18626930@N00/sets/72157601423504136/ Makes you want to eat a cupcake, doesn’t it? Thanks, MamaG. Lots to tell but we are tired: been picking up hundreds of foil corners from the chocolates, a load of garbage fills the back of the Man’s truck, the sad lawn begged for water, the lizard made a daring escape and was only recaptured by the brains of two adult humans (and we thought we were further UP the food chain than the cold-blooded reptile), I sent e-mail with grievous typos in it (peak instead of peek, gadzooks), and our sliding glass door is boarded up after a…

More to come — but these are a good selection. http://www.flickr.com/gp/21307188@N00/T7GDb0 And also this: The Sun Shines in Alameda You can’t beat that for “only in Alameda”… As you can see, the sun did shine, we had everything we could possibly want — hundreds of friends and relations, great music, a bounce house, cupcakes and delicious food from local purveyors. Don’t the weather…

    iMom

I drove up to the home county, Sonoma, about two weeks ago to pick up one of our girls from a visit to her grandparents. I had some time to spare (shocking but true) and wanted some quality time with my parents, so I hung around for a while. I picked some plums with my mom and she gave me some geranium and penstemon cuttings for the garden. I gave my parents their wedding invitation and I got to see the latest quilts that she’s going to show at the county fair. We talked and looked at pictures and made plans for later in the summer. After a while, and…
